International Fire and Rescue Association
To Promote the preservation & protection of life from fire and other emergencies
The International Fire and Rescue Association is a specialist charity, which has been operating since September 2001
Few other charities specifically target the Fire and Rescue needs of communities on an international level. The supply of vehicles, equipment and training to limited areas has always happened but has usually relied on an emergency Service member from the U.K. having personal contact with Firefighters or one of the other emergency services in the area to be helped. We assist not only Fire but Police, Paramedics, Doctors, Hospitals and Special needs areas such as schools
Our only wish is to help members of all the emergency services to carry out their work in the best equipment that we can provide, together with the best training that we can also assist with
We source and send vehicles that we in this country cannot use anymore which are then donated to the countries and services that need them most
