Firefighter Barry Martin

It is with deep sadness, that we have just received the news that Firefighter Barry Martin has died as a result of injuries sustained in firefighting duties at the fire at Jenners Department Store, Edinburgh earlier this week.

The Scottish Fire Bridges Heritage Trust wishes to convey our sincere condolences to the family, colleagues and friends of Barry. 

He was a true hero who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty protecting people and property in the best traditions of the Fire Service .
