The New Scottish Fire and Rescue Chief Officer Stuart Stevens who is also the Scottish Fire Brigades Heritage Trust President, took time out his busy schedule today to visit the museum and some of the volunteers from the Trust at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Heritage Centre in Greenock.
The chief and his staff officer Gregg got a tour of the museum and chatted at great length with everyone that was present at today’s visit.
Dave Adam the Chairman for the Scottish Fire Brigades Heritage trust welcomed and thanked the chief for his time and on-going support in our objectives and pro-activity with the rich and diverse history of the fire service in Scotland and around the world .
We would also like to announce that Andy Watt the Deputy Chief officer for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has also accepted the position of Vice President of the Scottish Fire Brigades Heritage Trust, which is great to have both the chief and his deputy filling these roles for the Trust.
Again we would like to thank everyone for what was a great visit and everyone had a great time.
